Profile Summary
Dr. Junaid Ahmed received his PhD Economics in 2015 from the Faculty of Economic Science, Georg August University, Göttingen. He obtained MS and B.Sc (Hons) Economics from International Islamic University, Pakistan. Prior to undertaking his Ph.D. studies, He worked as Lecturer at COMSATS institute of information technology, Pakistan. His research concerns the determinants and impacts of remittances in developing countries where he uses advanced econometric methods to study this issue with Pakistan being a case study. He has published some of his work in a peer reviewed national and international journals.
