Months QEC Activities
SEPTEMBER 2025 Capacity building workshop on “Effective Teaching Methodologies for 21st Century”
The Professional Development Center (PDC), CUST, organized a one-day workshop on “Effective Teaching Methodologies for the 21st Century” on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, for faculty members. The workshop was delivered by Prof. Dr. Malik Ghulam Behlol, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi. The objective of the workshop was to equip faculty with modern pedagogical tools and strategies to enhance classroom teaching, strengthen teaching capacity, foster student-centered learning, and encourage innovative methodologies for effective student engagement and improved learning outcomes.

HEC-RIPE Pilot Review at CUST-2026
CUST successfully conducted the RIPE-IPER-2026 Pilot Review visit from February 2 to 4, 2026 under the HEC PSG-2023 framework. The review was carried out by a distinguished High-Level Review Panel comprising nine eminent members, including academic leaders, quality assurance experts, and senior representatives from the Higher Education Commission (HEC). The panel was convened by Dr. Najam ul Islam, Vice Chancellor, NAMAL University, and included among its esteemed members Dr. Tayyaba Tamim, Dean of the School of Education, LUMS, Lahore.

The panel rigorously evaluated CUST’s institutional governance, academic processes, quality assurance mechanisms, and compliance with the PSG-2023 framework through comprehensive document reviews, institutional presentations, faculty and student interactions, and facility inspections. CUST extends sincere appreciation to the esteemed panel members and HEC officials for their valuable insights, professional expertise, and constructive recommendations, which will support the University’s continued journey toward institutional excellence, quality enhancement, and continuous improvement.
